In this novel, Chaos of the Senses, the novelist lives in a chaos of ideas in her narration of her novel, and because of the reality of Algeria, especially in the Black Decade, she crossed the sites of Algeria, adopting a narrative style that differs from the familiar contemporary narrative. In the midst of these psychological pressures and electrifying circumstances, she created, in her own way, a novel genre in which she took an aspect of every art, influenced by the novel series “One Thousand and One Nights,” as if she were playing the role of Scheherazade, who told stories to the king and made her heroes distinctive, such as “Khaled” and “Hayat” in their romantic story. Then we touch history in her novel, with the political circumstances since her father’s illness and the disintegration of relationships between three of his friends, the Mujahedeen. By virtue of her upbringing, culture, travels, studies, and her influence by Western and Arab intellectual trends, she concluded by presenting a productive novelistic work that she called “Chaos of the Senses,” leaving room for the reader to discover what it is and how to narrate it himself. This study, entitiled " the psychology of character in Rachid Boudjedjedra’s novel the Funeral" explores the intersection of psychology, philosophy and narrative art. The novelist does not treat history as a static record of events, but rather as a creative tool to reshape collective memory and to raise questions related to identity, belonging, and resistance. The research employed an analytical-interpretive method, focusing on the narrative and aesthetic dimensions through 85 which Al-A’raj integrates historical content, while also referring to previous studies that addressed historical fiction in modern Arabic literature. The findings reveal that Al-A’raj goes beyond recalling the past; he transforms it into a space of dialogue with the present, through a philosophical and aesthetic vision deeply rooted in Algerian memory and the struggles of colonialism and freedom. This made Algerian novelists take this religious aspect into consideration, investing it in building the narrative world and drawing inspiration from the mystical experience with its saints, attractions, and spiritual manifestations that blend between reality and imagination, the outer and the inner, making the mystic in the novel a mirror of society and a voice of the inner truth. In the modern novel, place has broken free from its mere geography and architecture to become a space rich with psychological, social, political, and cultural connotations and symbols. This transformation deepens the structure of the text and intensifies its aesthetic tensions. In Houaria by An’am Bayyoudh, the author infuses symbolic and semantic dimensions into various types of spaces, allowing readers to delve into the inner tensions experienced by the characters, the conflicts that drive the plot, and the unfolding of character identities and their psychological and social transformations. The subject of our study titled ""Cultural Manifestations of Heritage in the Novel hqrisqt al dilalby Wassini Al-Araj"" is an attempt to delve into the realms of history and heritage. It also focuses on analyzing characters through their internal conflicts and psychological complexes. The colonial reality, or the French occupation, appears as an internal constraint that penetrates the psyche of the characters, as we noticed in the character of Omar. The psychological reading revealed the transformation of Omar’s character and how he became a model of the child forced into early awareness. In this novel, the writer Mohamed dib did not merely portray the child’s life, but he also depicted the process of psychological development under social and political oppression. Omar lives in a state of inner turmoil and psychological alienation – not only from his society but also form his own childhood. The novel is a precise depiction of the formation of the self under psychological pressure, where all his pain – from anxiety, emotional deprivation, and repression – turns into internal psychological conflict. This conflict pushes him toward deep contemplation about his reality and his society. Thus, the child Omar in the novel serves as a reflective mirror of Algerian society during the colonial period. Algerian popular poetry is a type of Arabic poetry composed in the local dialect, addressing all societal issues. Through my modest efforts, I was able to examine this encyclopedia and extract literary works that were on the verge of disappearing due to a lack of collection and preservation — a task the High Council undertook. This encyclopedia gathered the Algerian literary output in various genres such as poetry, theater, novel, maqama, travel literature, autobiography, short story, and folktale. However, it did not comprehensively cover all the prominent figures who contributed to these genres. Moreover, it neglected some genres such as mythology, oratory, and epic. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rakibi's dissertation, titled ""The Evolution of Modern Algerian Prose,"" presents an in-depth study of Algerian prose from its early beginnings in the modern era up to the mid-20th century.
