Abstract

Dr. Abdullah Al-Rakibi's dissertation, titled ""The Evolution of Modern Algerian Prose,"" presents an in-depth study of Algerian prose from its early beginnings in the modern era up to the mid-20th century. The study aims to trace the trajectory of Algerian prose, analyze its artistic characteristics, and identify its most prominent pioneers and the stages it underwent. In his study, Al-Rakibi focuses on highlighting the various influences that shaped Algerian prose, whether internal, stemming from the Algerian environment and its culture. Al-Rakibi begins by reviewing the roots of prose in Algeria.
