Through this study, we aimed to provide a comprehensive and systematic conception of the concept of narration in its linguistic and terminological dimensions, while deconstructing its core components represented in the communicative triangle (Narrator, Narrated, and Narratee). Furthermore, it highlights narrative techniques as procedural tools utilized by the novelist to construct the text, focusing on three pivotal elements: Time and its anachronies (analepsis and prolepsis), Space in its dynamic dimensions (places of residence and places of transition), and novelistic Characters as the driving force behind the story, whose roles vary between main, secondary, and marginal. The study concludes that the integration and mutual interaction of these components and techniques give the novelistic text its artistic identity and achieve its structural and aesthetic coherence. The digital poem is considered one of the literary genres belonging to digital literature, as it relies on computer technologies and modern media, employing sound and image in shaping its expressive structure. The digital poem is characterized by several artistic features, which can be summarized as: condensation and suggestion, the language of paradox, and the closing code (code of ending). The semiotic approach has contributed significantly to analyzing these features and uncovering their deep meanings, making semiotics a suitable methodological tool for approaching this type of text. Among the prominent figures who have contributed to the field of digital literature are: Souad Aoun, El-Akhdar Berka, and Abderrahman El-Akhdari.Item التداخل بين الرواية والسيرة الذاتية "ذاكرة الماء" "واسيني الأعرج" أنموذجا(UNIVERSITY OF AIN TEMOUCHENT, 2026) مريم، سيدي يعقوب; الشيخ،كبير"Our research, titled The Interlapping of Autobiography and the Novel: A Case Study of ""The Memory of Water"" by Waciny Laredj, consists of an introduction, an introductory chapter, two main chapters, and a conclusion. It aims to understand the dimensions of this discourse and trace its features by applying the social approach. To cover the subject comprehensively, the research is divided into three chapters. It seeks to explore the role of time in constructing events, shaping characters, and enhancing suspense in the detective novel, using the narrative analytical approach to examine the temporal structure of the text. The study shows that chronological time in the novel follows a linear and orderly sequence of events, beginning with the characters’ arrival on the island, then gradually developing through escalating crimes and growing mystery, until the final revelation of the truth. This temporal structure contributes to a tightly constructed plot based on gradual progression and suspense, which is a key feature of detective fiction. This study examines satirical discourse in contemporary Algerian short fiction, with the stories of AissaChrit as a case study. It investigates satire as both an artistic and critical mechanism capable of revealing the contradictions of Algerian social reality. The research starts from a central question concerning the ways in which satirical discourse appears in AissaChrit’s stories, and the narrative and linguistic techniques through which the writer transforms satire into a tool for exposing social, administrative, and political dysfunctions. To address this issue, the study adopts the descriptive analytical method, supported by a socio-critical approach, in order to connect the selected short stories to their social background while preserving their artistic and aesthetic specificity. The study shows that satire in AissaChrit’s stories is not based on superficial humor, but on irony, sarcasm, symbolism, and everyday language. Simple narrative elements such as “the queue,” “the employee,” and “the hat” become meaningful signs of waiting, bureaucracy, and symbolic power. The study concludes that satirical discourse in AissaChrit’s short fiction functions as a deep form of social criticism, exposing the problematic relationship between the individual and the institution, and demonstrating the ability of contemporary Algerian short fiction to question reality through condensed and effective artistic tools. This study addresses "The Approach of Taste in Poetry Criticism: The Diwan of Al-Qaws Al-Adhraa (The Virgin Bow) by Mahmoud Muhammad Shakir as a Model." Furthermore, the study is divided into two parts: a theoretical aspect (which deals with the linguistic concept and its critical terminology) and a practical aspect (which analyzes the poems of the Al-Qaws Al-Adhraa collection). Through this topic, we became acquainted with critical thinking, western references, and heritage. This subject is considered important due to the aspects of difference and integration that exist between western references and Arab heritage. The writer successfully combines narrative storytelling with dramatic theatrical techniques in a modern artistic form. Through intense dialogue, successive scenes, and theatrical presentation methods, the reader feels as if the events are unfolding on a stage rather than simply being read in a novel. The author also presents the characters in a dramatic way, making them appear like theatrical performers carrying deep psychological and intellectual dimensions. In addition, the novel relies heavily on conflict, movement, and dramatic tension, which are key characteristics of theater more than traditional narrative writing. At the same time, the work preserves the essential features of the novel through inner description, flashbacks, and exploration of the characters’ inner worlds. This creates a balance between the narrative and theatrical dimensions. Such artistic blending gives the text vitality and aesthetic richness, transforming narration into a visual and dynamic space that reflects human and social issues in a contemporary style. Modern and contemporary Arabic literary Criticism has witnessed a profound transformation due to it's openness to the west and its critical approaches, which led to a partial break from its past and heritage. This sparked widespread debate within literary critical circles devided between proponents and opponents of this shift. Amidst these changes, Mahmoud Mohammad shaker emerges as a critic, who strongly rejected these western critical approches and became one of their most notable opponents. He argues that they don't adequately serve the Arabic text because they differ completely from its Arab islamic origins. So, the real crisis is the crisis of the absence of methodology which is connected to the nation's language and identity. Mohmoud Mohammad shaker advocated for the necessity of returning to heritage, as a cognitive and methodological vessel capable of restoring an authentic critical awarness, proposing an alternative to these methodologies .
