Résumé

This study falls within the interests of modern and contemporary literary criticism, focusing on the topic: "The Social Trend in Algerian Feminist Literature: A Thematic Reading in the Writings of Zohour Ounissi." It aims to understand the dimensions of this discourse and trace its features by applying the social approach. To cover the subject comprehensively, the research is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to defining the concepts of feminist literature, its history, and its various intellectual trends. The second chapter focuses on studying the life of the author Zohour Ounissi, her revolutionary and cultural background derived from the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulema, and her close connection to her society. The third chapter shifts to the practical side through analyzing the novel "Loundja and the Ogre" to see how the author depicted social reality and addressed its issues using narrative techniques. The research concluded with several results, most importantly that writing for Zohour Ounissi was a live social document reflecting the pain of society, and seeking to prove women's status and liberation within a framework that preserves core values, religion, and national identity.
