Abstract
This study aimed to identify attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and its
impact on self-image among primary school students. We chose a targeted
sample composed of three (02) boys and (01) girls, aged 6 to 8 years old,
regularly enrolled in the first and third years of primary school in the primary
schools of the wilaya of Ain Temouchent.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, we followed the clinical
approach, relying on the case study, where we used a children's ADHD scale
in its two school and family forms (questionnaire for teacher and
questionnaire for parents). ) from (Al-Yahmadi, 2014), as well as the self image scale from (Laith Hazem Habib, 2010).
The results showed that two out of three cases suffered from ADHD at a
moderate level, the third case had a high score, also, all three cases had a high
self-image. The study concluded with a set of recommendations and
suggestions
