Résumé
This study aims to identify the impact of digital transformation on
human resources performance within Algerian educational institutions
through a field study conducted at Abdelmadjid Mazach Middle
School in Ain Temouchent Province. The study is based on a central
problem concerning the extent to which digital transformation
contributes to improving human resources performance and reshaping
work patterns and management methods within educational
institutions.
The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, which was
considered the most appropriate for the nature of the topic. Interviews
were used as the main tool for data collection from a sample of
employees, administrators, and teachers within the institution. The
research also relied on McLuhan’s Technological Determinism
Approach, which considers technology a major factor in changing
communication patterns and organizational structures within
institutions.
On the other hand, the study identified several challenges hindering
the success of digital transformation, including weak digital
infrastructure, lack of equipment, insufficient continuous training, and
differences in employees’ acceptance of digitalization due to
variations in professional experience and organizational culture.
The study concluded that the success of digital transformation in
educational institutions depends not only on providing technological
tools, but also on supporting continuous training, strengthening digital
culture, and creating a flexible organizational environment capable of
adapting to modern changes.
