Abstract

This research study falls within the realm of contemporary educational and linguistic research, employing a pedagogical framework based on linguistic data, specifically phonology, to demonstrate its impact on understanding literary texts within the reading comprehension activity of the first-year middle school Arabic textbook. Its aim is to broaden the educational landscape by incorporating the findings of linguistics, enabling teachers to utilize them in a way that suits students' abilities. In this light, it highlights the need for innovation in teaching methods so that the field of education can benefit from the results of linguistic science. The first chapter addresses the conceptual aspects of the fundamental terms that constitute the scientific framework of this topic, while the second chapter presents a series of examples to illustrate this scientific perspective, which is based on the epistemological integration between linguistics and the field of education.
