Résumé
This study aimed to investigate the role of electronic game addiction in the
emergence of sleep disorders among children. Two scales were used : the
Electronic Game Addiction Scale developed by Lemmens (2009) and the Sleep
Disorders Scale developed by Johns (1991).
- The study adopted the clinical method using a case study approach. The two
scales were applied to a sample consisting of two cases (one male and one
female), who were in the third and fourth grades of primary school, aged
between 8 and 12 years.
- The findings revealed that electronic game addiction plays a role in the
development of sleep disorders in children.
