Water has become a critical global challenge, closely tied to human development, while the search for sustainable sources grows increasingly urgent. Algeria faces severe water scarcity and relies on seawater desalination. However, conventional methods remain costly and energy-intensive. This study presents an experimental approach using a parabolic solar concentrator for saltwater distillation, providing an economical and eco-friendly alternative. The system operates solely on solar energy and was optimized for maximum efficiency. Our findings demonstrate that a 3-meter-diameter parabolic reflector paired with a copper absorption chamber delivers optimal performance.en_US
