Résumé
The current study aimed to the effectiveness of a therapeutic program based on narrative
storytelling in reducing the level of school fears among primary school pupils, through a clinical
study on two(2) cases (one male and one female) who were selected purposively from fourth-grade
primary school pupils at Echouhada Brothers School, where the clinical approach based on the case
study was adopted, with the application of the School Fears Scale prepared by the researcher
(Salema Aghiat, 2019) before and after conducting the therapeutic program.
The results of the study showed the existence of statistically significant differences in the level of
school fears among primary school pupils between the pre-test and post-test measurements after
applying the therapeutic program based on narrative storytelling in favor of the post-test
measurement, which indicates a decrease in the level of school fears after the therapeutic
intervention. The results also showed that the therapeutic program based on narrative storytelling
has effectiveness in reducing the level of school fears among primary school pupils.
