Abstract

The program (or project ) evaluation and review technique ( PERT ) is one of the most important topics that attracts the attention of investors by providing information that contributes to project feasibility studies to estimate the likelihood of success of an investment before it actual implementation. In this study, we aim to shed light on the most important methods of network analysis used in the field of project evaluation PERT, and to demonstrate its importance in controlling the cost and duration of the construction project. As a conclusion, the application of these methods in Algeria remains limited, despite the great importance of mathematical and statistical models in the evaluation of pr ojects.
