Résumé
This thesis addresses the project of connecting the wastewater systems of Houaoura and M‟said to
the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Bouzedjar. These two localities face major challenges in
wastewater management due to inadequate infrastructure, resulting in significant health and
environmental risks.
The project's objective Is to improve wastewater treatment by connecting both localities to a
central treatment plant, thus contributing to public health and environmental protection. After studying
various options, it was determined that constructing a single common WWTP is more economical and
simplifies operational management compared to building two separate WWTPs.
In conclusion, the option of a common WWTP was chosen for its cost-effectiveness and
operational efficiency. This project will enhance wastewater management, protect the environment,
and improve the sanitary conditions of the local populations, while providing a sustainable and
economically viable solution.
