Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between attachment styles and academic compatibility among a sample of fifth-year primary school students belonging to Ben Hassine Hussein Primary School in the state of Ain Temouchent.To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive correlational approach was relied upon and the following scales were used: the Ali Attachment Styles Scale.Abdel Baqi (2021), and the Man Young Academic Compatibility
Scale, translated and modified by Hussein Al-Derini, Where were they applied to a sample
consisting of (67) male and female students, (31) males and (36) females who were selected
randomly? After statistical processing of the data, the study concluded with the following results:
- There is a statistically significant correlation between attachment styles and the level of
scholastic conformity of pupils in the fifth year of primary school.
- There are no statistically significant differences in the level of scholastic compatibility among
students in the fifth year of primary school according to the gender variable.
- The level of scholastic compatibility among pupils in the fifth year of primary school is low.
- Finally, the prevailing attachment style among this group is the secure style.
