Résumé
Drinking water is an essential resource for socio-economic development and improving living
conditions. In this context, the municipality of Tamazourah faces a continuous increase in demand for
drinking water, necessitating the strengthening of its supply system to guarantee reliable and sustainable
distribution. This thesis focuses on the study and design of the project to strengthen the drinking water
supply system for the municipality of Tamazourah, drawing from the Aghbal borehole. The main
objective is to propose a technical and economic solution to meet the current and future needs of the
population. The study assessed the municipality's water needs and determined the dimensions of the
infrastructure required for transport and distribution. The project includes a 4,600 m long, 160 mm
diameter delivery pipeline, ensuring the conveyance of water to a 2,000 m3 reservoir. The AGHBAL
borehole has a depth of 140 m and an exploitable flow rate of 14 l/s. Hydraulic calculations indicated a
pressure of 1.92 bar at the reservoir. The economic study estimated the overall cost of the project at
67,950,000 DA, confirming its feasibility despite the necessary investment. The results obtained
demonstrate that the AGHBAL borehole is an optimal solution for strengthening the drinking water
supply to the municipality. This project ensures greater water security, improves the quality of public
service, and guarantees a sustainable supply of drinking water for the population of TAMAZOURAH.
