Étude comparative d'un systéme épuration par la boue activée et MBBR pour la STEP de Hammam Bouhdjer

Abstract

Wastewater poses a major threat to the environment and human beings, both directly and indirectly, which is why it is important to treat and recycle it given the water shortage. In this regard, we conducted a comparison between two biological treatment processes: "activated sludge and MBBR", in order to compare them and select the most compact one. As part of this research, we calculated wastewater flow rates by 2052 and performed a complete design of all structures for each process, with the aim of sizing a future wastewater treatment plant for the towns of HAMMAME BOUHDJER and AURESS el MAIDA by 2052.
