Abstract
This study aimed to understand the implications of knowledge management in enhancing human capital within the CIAR insurance company, as well as the role of personal motivation in explaining this relationship. A questionnaire was used as the data collection tool, and the analytical descriptive approach was adopted. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 61 employees from the study setting. The collected data were processed using SPSS version 26, relying on the necessary statistical methods. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between knowledge management and human capital. However, personal motivation does not mediate or explain the relationship between the two variables. Knowledge management was considered the independent variable, while human capital was the dependent variable. Furthermore, the dimensions of knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing were not found to have a statistically significant relationship within the CIAR insurance company.
