Résumé
This study aimed to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-
efficacy among primary school teachers in the schools of the Sidi Ali Boussidi district in Sidi
Bel Abbès. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers adopted the descriptive
analytical method. In order to collect the necessary data, two scales were used: the first
measured the variable of emotional intelligence and was developed by Khaled Mohamed
Salah Al-Madhi (2014), while the second measured the variable of self-efficacy and was
developed by Ziri Ahlam (2018).
The study population consisted of education sector employees in the Wilaya of Sidi
Bel Abbès. The study sample included 60 primary school teachers from the Sidi Ali Boussidi
district.
The researchers also relied on the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to
analyze the data. The study reached the following findings:
- There is a statistically significant correlation between emotional intelligence and self-
efficacy among primary school teachers.
- There are statistically significant differences in emotional intelligence among primary
school teachers attributable to the gender variable, in favor of male teachers.

school teachers attributable to the variable of professional seniority.
- There are no statistically significant differences in self-efficacy among primary school
teachers attributable to the gender variable.

teachers attributable to the variable of professional seniority.
