Abstract
Curricula for teaching Arabic grammar in Algerian schools are considered
an important topic worthy of study and research. This study aims to analyze and
evaluate curricula for teaching Arabic grammar in Algerian schools between
theory and practice.
First, an overview of the educational system and curricula for teaching
Arabic grammar in Algerian schools was presented and analyzed. An overview
of the approaches used in teaching Arabic grammar was also provided, and an
analysis of the factors that affect the implementation of these approaches and their
application on the ground.
The thesis also addresses the linguistic theory related to learning and
analyzing the Arabic language, focusing on the basic theories and concepts that
form the basis of educational curriculum design. The research also made use of
previous studies and research related to teaching Arabic grammar in Algerian
schools.
The thesis also includes an applied aspect, in which the methods of
teaching language grammar in the two stages of basic education and intermediate
education were reviewed.
In the second part of the applied part, the questionnaire addressed to
middle school teachers was analysed, through which the effectiveness of the
current educational curricula was evaluated and the difficulties and challenges
facing the process of teaching Arabic grammar in Algerian schools were
identified.
Based on the results and analyses, we presented recommendations and
suggestions to improve curricula for teaching Arabic grammar in Algerian
schools, in line with modern theories and concepts in the field of teaching the
Arabic language.
