Résumé
This study aims to identify the role of green leadership in activating corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the Electricity and Gas Distribution Company (Sonelgaz) in the Province of Ain Temouchent. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive-analytical approach was adopted, using a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection from the study sample.
The field study yielded a set of results, most notably: the presence of a medium-to-high level of application of green leadership practices, and a high level of the company’s commitment to its social responsibility. The ""sustainable procedures"" dimension ranked first regarding green leadership, while the ""social dimension"" came in first place among the pillars of corporate social responsibility. Furthermore, the statistical results demonstrated a significant correlation and a statistically positive impact of green leadership on activating the company's social responsibility and enhancing its effectiveness. Based on these findings, the study recommended the necessity of integrating sustainability into the company's strategic planning, and supporting its environmental dimension by rationalizing energy consumption and reducing waste, in addition to encouraging green innovation and intensifying sustainable environmental and community initiatives.
