Résumé
The present study aimed to identify the correlational relationship between religious commitment
and emotional balance among university students. A field study was conducted on a sample of
students from Belhadj Bouchaib University, in addition to examining differences in the level of
religious commitment according to the variables of gender (male/female) and academic
specialization. The sample consisted of (63) university students, including (20) males and (43)
females, selected through a convenience sampling method. The descriptive correlational approach
was adopted, using two measurement scales: the Religious Commitment Scale by Hani Atia Aylan
Abu Amra (2013), and the Emotional Balance Scale by (Ben Aissa Rayan and Zouaoui Yamna,
2025).
Data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS. After statistical processing of the data, the
study concluded that there is a correlational relationship between religious commitment and
emotional balance among university students. The results also revealed statistically significant
differences in the level of religious commitment attributed to the gender variable (male/female) in
favor of males, while no statistically significant differences were found according to the
specialization variable (Social Sciences / Psychology).
