Abstract
This study aims to highlight the impact of professional mobility on job
satisfaction among employees at the school for hearing-impaired children at Ain
Temouchent. The choice of this topic came based on field observations as a-worker,
where the reaction of employees when an internal or external professional mobility
occurs vary between supporters and opponents which reflects on their job
satisfaction negatively or positively depending on the nature of the mobility and its
factors .The study was based on the main question: How does professional mobility
affects job satisfaction among employees of the school for hearing –impaired
children?
This raises two questions:
What is the impact of internal professional mobility on the job satisfaction of
employees of the school for hearing-impaired children?
What is the impact of external professional mobility on the job satisfaction of
employees of the school for hearing –Impact children?
To answer these questions, we conducted a field study where we relied on
participant observation and interview as tools for data collections, where we
questioned the 15 respondent as a purposive sample who was affects by mobility of
all kinds. The results found that job satisfaction is positively affected by mobility
when the mobility is internal; it means promotion and career transition within the
organization, while external professional mobility negatively affects the level of
employee satisfaction, and they attribute the reason to the consequences that result
from mobility, which differ from one employee to another.
