Abstract

This study aims to highlight the impact of professional mobility on job satisfaction among employees at the school for hearing-impaired children at Ain Temouchent. The choice of this topic came based on field observations as a-worker, where the reaction of employees when an internal or external professional mobility occurs vary between supporters and opponents which reflects on their job satisfaction negatively or positively depending on the nature of the mobility and its factors .The study was based on the main question: How does professional mobility affects job satisfaction among employees of the school for hearing –impaired children? This raises two questions: What is the impact of internal professional mobility on the job satisfaction of employees of the school for hearing-impaired children? What is the impact of external professional mobility on the job satisfaction of employees of the school for hearing –Impact children? To answer these questions, we conducted a field study where we relied on participant observation and interview as tools for data collections, where we questioned the 15 respondent as a purposive sample who was affects by mobility of all kinds. The results found that job satisfaction is positively affected by mobility when the mobility is internal; it means promotion and career transition within the organization, while external professional mobility negatively affects the level of employee satisfaction, and they attribute the reason to the consequences that result from mobility, which differ from one employee to another.
