Abstract
This research aims to study the book “Linguistic Communication in Media
Discourse from Structure to the Pragmatic Horizon،” a descriptive and analytical
study، and to examine the concept of communication and discourse and its
relationship to media and advertising، and to trace its historical path and
development، from its emergence and establishment in Western studies to
Transmission and reception in Arabic studies and its reference in linguistics،
with a focus on its relationship to advertising discourse
