Abstract
This research explores the impact of integrating playful activities into the teaching and learning
of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) among first-year middle school (1AM) students. The
main objective is to analyze how playfulness can improve learners' motivation, engagement, and
ultimately, oral comprehension. Through a methodology combining theory and practice, this
study aims to identify the most effective types of games and evaluate their contribution to the
acquisition of FLE skills. The expected results should shed light on the benefits of the playful
approach in the specific context of teaching FLE in the first year of middle school.
