Abstract

This study aimed to identify the current state of digital transformation and its role in improving performance within economic institutions. The study was conducted at the Sonelgaz branch in Hammam Bouhadjar, Ain Temouchent. To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was employed, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. Data was then analyzed using the SPSS statistical software. The study found that the organization under study is interested in digital transformation. It also demonstrated a statistically significant positive impact of digital transformation, as well as each of its dimensions, on improving the organization's overall performance, with the exception of the human resources dimension. Therefore, the study recommends raising awareness of the importance of digital transformation among employees, upgrading the infrastructure, and strengthening cybersecurity frameworks
