Résumé

This study aims to highlight the role of dashboards in improving performance within the Dr. Benzerdjeb Hospital in Ain Temouchent. It does so by examining their current use and their contribution to supporting management and decision-making, analyzing their impact on developing administrative and service performance, and identifying the main obstacles that limit their effectiveness. To achieve these objectives, the study employed a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. Data was collected from a sample of 39 hospital employees, and then analyzed using SPSS software with several statistical methods, including arithmetic means, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, Pearson's coefficient, and linear regression. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between dashboard use and improved performance within the hospital. It demonstrated that dashboards contribute to performance monitoring, improved coordination, decision-making support, enhanced quality of healthcare services, and reduced waste. Furthermore, they promote a culture of evaluation and follow-up within the hospital. The results also showed that the actual use of dashboards significantly impacts performance development, thus supporting the study's hypotheses. The study also revealed some obstacles, most notably a lack of training and development, weak digital tools, and infrequent data updates.
