Résumé
This study aims to demonstrate the impact of Islamic finance on expanding financial inclusion in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries during the period from 2011 to 2022. It employs a panel model and the Fully Corrected Least Squares (FMOLS) method. The Islamic finance index, the government spending index, and the inflation rate were used as independent variables, while the dependent variable, financial inclusion, was measured by the number of bank depositors per 1,000 adults.
The study concludes with several key findings, most notably that Islamic finance positively impacts financial inclusion in the GCC countries, which are considered leading nations in the field of Islamic finance.
