Résumé
Creative thinking is considered one of the essential skills that help learners generate
new ideas and solve problems in non-traditional ways. It also contributes to the
development of mental and intellectual abilities, while enhancing self-confidence and
the spirit of initiative. Its development relies on several strategies such as
brainstorming, dialogue, and cooperative learning. However, there are several
obstacles that limit its development, including fear of making mistakes, lack of
encouragement, and certain factors related to the educational environment and
teaching methods. The study relied on questionnaires addressed to teachers and
learners in order to identify the reality of creative thinking and the methods used to
develop it, while highlighting the difficulties that hinder the development of learners’
intellectual and creative abilities.
