Abstract

Our topic addresses children's songs, and we have chosen the collection "Nafh al-Yasmin" by Jamal al-Taheri. Our work focuses on studying the rhetorical structure, addressing: the concept of the song and its types, its characteristics, the importance of songs, the objectives of songs, the pioneers of the song in the Arab world and in Algeria, the themes that Jamal al-Taheri addresses in his collection "Nafh al-Yasmin," similes, metaphors, metonymies, symbolic images, rhetorical devices, meter, rhythm, and rhyme.
