Abstract

This research study falls within the field of applied linguistics, employing an interdisciplinary approach to explore the cross-fertilization of knowledge inherent in this branch of linguistics. It also examines the scholarly contributions of Arab researchers in this field. The study aims to provide students and researchers with a general overview of relevant Arabic literature, academic theses, and scholarly articles. This comprehensive approach seeks to achieve a dual objective: understanding applied linguistics and its various subfields. The first chapter addresses the conceptual aspects of the fundamental terminology that constitutes the scientific framework of this subject. The second chapter focuses on the practical application of these contributions, thereby enhancing the research and its overall scholarly value within the field of linguistics.
