Abstract

This study deals with the sociology of literature to Dr. Sayed El-Bahrawi, through presenting the most important critical issues and concepts discussed in his book The Sociology of Literature. It aims to highlight the relationship between literature and society, and to reveal the critical approach adopted by El- Bahrawi in analyzing the literary text from a sociological perspective. The study also seeks to clarify the major concepts he focused on, such as worldview and the content of form, while showing the importance of sociological criticism in understanding and analyzing literary works.
