Résumé

This study aimed to determine the impact of empowering leadership behaviors (enhancing the sense of work meaning, promoting participation in decision-making, demonstrating confidence in high performance, and granting autonomy while reducing bureaucratic constraints), on developing organizational pride with its dimensions (affective and behavioral) in the Directorate of Electricity and Gas Distribution in Ain Temouchent. To achieve the study objectives, the researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 51 employees. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The study reached several key findings, most notably the existence of a strong positive correlation between empowering leadership and organizational pride. The statistical analysis also revealed a statistically significant effect of empowering leadership on developing organizational pride in the institution under study. The study recommended the necessity of adopting empowering leadership styles by granting employees broader authorities, encouraging them to take initiatives, and actively participate in decision-making. It also recommended considering organizational pride as a strategic element in building the institution’s reputation and enhancing its competitiveness.
