Contribution à la valorisation de sous-produit issu de l'abattage de volaille (plumes) utilisé comme élément de milieu de culture fongique

Abstract

This work focuses on a contribution to the valorization of poultry feathers. The isolation of fungal isolates is done from the soil of the Daïra de Hammam Bouhdjer chicken farm in the wilaya of Ain Temouchent. Four (04) fungal isolates were isolated and identified, the identification of these four fungal isolates was based on morphological characters (macroscopic and microscopic study), these strains belong to the genus Aspergillus (Aspergillus niger (M1), Aspergillus flavus (M2), Aspergillus fumigatus (M3) and Aspergillus terreus (M4)). And are able to grow on a solid and liquid medium based on feather meal. the Keratolytic activity test made it possible to select three keratolytic strains; Aspergillus flavus M2, Aspergillus fumigatus (M3) and Aspergillus terreus (M4). These isolated strains possess high and highly effective keratinolitic activity in feather degradation, presenting potential use for biotechnological processes involving keratin hydrolysis. The amylolitic activity test of these four isolates revealed that 04 (M1, M2, M3 and M4) are amylolitic strains capable of producing the α-amylase enzyme. Moreover, these 04 isolates do not have proteolytic (caseinolytic) activity
