Abstract

This study, entitled "The Socio-Linguistic Structure in the Algerian Novelistic Discourse, the Novel "Blood of the Gazelle" by Merzak Begache, is an attempt to understand and define the social and linguistic textual structure in which the novelistic text was written, with the aim of revealing and delving into its secrets. This is achieved by addressing the beginnings of the sociology of the text of Georg Lukacs, Lucien Goldmann and Pierre Zima, identifying the analytical procedures they adopted, then identifying the characteristics of the novelistic discourse, arriving at the applied study represented by the socio-textual analysis of the novel "Blood of the Gazelle" by applying what was stated in the theoretical aspect to its linguistic and textual structure, extracting the ideology of the novel advocated by the novelist. Finally, I addressed a conclusion in which I monitored the most important results reached, and this conclusion is followed by an appendix that includes the novelist's autobiography while highlighting the novel's interface.
