This study aims to analyze the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the national economy, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, through a case study of a cement factory located in Beni Saf, Ain Temouchent. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical method as it is the most suitable for examining economic phenomena and analyzing relationships between research variables. A sample of 78 employees and workers from the studied institution was selected, and data were collected using a questionnaire as the main tool, supported by observation and interviews. The data were analyzed using SPSS software through several statistical methods, including correlation analysis, simple linear regression, and normality tests. The findings revealed a moderate positive statistically significant relationship between the impact of COVID-19 and the overall performance of the institution, in addition to a significant effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, and the ability of COVID-19 to explain a considerable part of the variation in institutional performance.
