Abstract

This memoir devoted to the design and sizing the elements of an amphitheater already made in the university center Ain Temouchent in reinforced concrete . but in this study We chose a superstructure composed by a steel frame , while the buried part is made up of reinforced concrete elements. to adopt the most appropriate seismic structural system. we assessed the seismic performance of the structure, in which several variants of the structural system will be examined. This study was done based on the recommendations of the following codes :The Algerian code RNV 2013, the Algerian aseismic code RPA 99 V2003, Eurocode 3, CBA93 and BAEL.
