L’habitat à Ain Témouchent, étude formelle, structurelle des différents types de logement entre individuel et collectif

Abstract

This project sheds light on a formal and structural study of various types of housing throughout history, especially housing in Aïn Temouchent, whether individual, collective, or rural, in order to understand their pros and cons. To achieve this, we first focused our research on studying housing policy in Algeria and identifying the most common types of housing, as well as the various sales formulas introduced by the Algerian government. Secondly, we chose the province of Aïn Temouchent as the research area and studied three housing cases, calculated their elements, and developed a model for each. Finally, we conducted a critique of the flaws of the villa, the building, and the courtyard house, both in terms of structure, design problems, shortcomings, and even aesthetic aspects, and we conducted a comprehensive comparison of their characteristics, along with providing some modification suggestions.
