Abstract

This study discusses the impact of different contexts on interpreting the temporal meanings of the present tense verb in Surah An-Nur (the Light) in the Quran, and how the meanings of the present tense verb change based on the context in which it appears. It also explores how context can add various temporal meanings to this verb. The study aims to: Explore the relationship between context and the temporal meanings of the .1 present tense verb in the Quranic text.
