Abstract

Abstract This thesis deals with the work of the missions of geotechnical engineering which constitutes a major risk in Algeria affecting land, construction and human. The purpose of this work is to clarify the tasks of geotechnical engineering missions in civil engineering works. We have, at the beginning, a bibliographic overview concerning the European norm NFP 94- 500 (version November 2013) for classification of the different missions of the geotechnical engineering for definitions of several processes of more secure construction Then we detailed their geotechnical sequence during the design, realization and life of a work or a site development Finally, works (road, bridge and dam) have been exposed to mention the stages in which the geotechnical intervenes.
