Abstract

With the development of the activities of individuals, the activities of individuals within society, and the transformation of human activity from purely agricultural to primarily industrial, the development of transport operations has increased to keep pace with these developments. Which may affect the marine environment, which raises a legal question centered on the problem of compensation in the event of damage to the marine environment caused by the transportation of goods that are of great danger. Therefore, this study was divided into two main axes: the concept of maritime transport of dangerous goods and the impact of civil liability for the transport of dangerous goods. Due to the importance of this topic and its specificity, both the descriptive as well as the analytical approach was relied upon for its statement.
