Abstract
The poem between the mountain and what is hidden by the Syrian poet Anas Al-Daghim is one of
the wonderful poems that combine religious inspiration, historical and literary as well, and the idea
of the poem revolves around the suffering of the people of Gaza and what it was subjected to from
treachery and betrayal and lack of support from the Arab countries to it, likening it to what
happened to the Prophet Joseph, peace be upon him, and his exposure to deception from the closest
people using upscale methods that draw the reader's attention and pay him in contemplation and
Consider its meanings. With regard to the historical aspect, the poet Al-Dhaghim mentions in his
poem some events that occurred in the history of the Arabs and Islam, such as the Battle of Badr,
the Yamama incident, and his mention of some legendary players, who marked the history of the
Islamic region, such as Amr ibn al-Aas and Omar Ibn al-Khattab. The religious inspiration in the
poem is reflected in the poet's depiction of the life of Joseph (peace be upon him) and the poem
also reflects the poet's deep belief in the unity of God and his greatness and imbuing him with the
religious spirit. The poem, with its religious and spiritual inspiration, embodies high values and
sincere faith principles, which makes it appreciated and respected by readers and lovers of Arab
poetry .
Anas Al-Daghim is one of the contemporary poets, who was known for his defense of the
Palestinian cause and his poems have known density and diversity in his use of many connotations
and aesthetics and various symbols religious, historical and literary and this indicates his acumen
and wisdom and this appeared in his sense of betrayal and treachery of the Arabs who contributed
to the loss of Palestine and handed over to the Jews, The poem gained comprehensiveness and
objectivity which made it the subject of great interest to the reader
