Abstract

The study aimed to show the impact of major personality traits on self-efficacy among retired managers, as we sought to know the level of self-efficacy as well as highlighting the major personality traits apparent in among retired managers, the distinctive features of self-efficacy among retired managers, the distinctive features of major personality traits among retired managers. To achieve this, we relied on the clinical approach, where various types of interview and scientific observation were used, and we also applied the major personality traits scale by Costa and McCrae (1992) translated by Badr Muhammad Al-Ansari (1997) and codified by Reem Kateb (2019), as well as the self-efficacy scale developed and codified by Suhail Walaa (2016), on an intentional sample represented in three (03) male cases. The results of the study concluded that: Major personality traits affect the self-efficacy of retired managers The level of self-efficacy of retired managers is average The hallmarks of self-efficacy in retired managers are initiative and perseverance The hallmarks of major personality traits in retired managers are neuroticism .and openness to experience These results have been discussed in the light of previous studies and .theoretical literature.
