ETUDE DE CREATION D’UN PERMIMETRE D’IRRIGATION A PARTIR DU BARRAGE DE SEKLAFA WILAYA –LAGHOUAT-

Abstract

Water is a strategic issue for Algeria. The main objective of this dissertation is to design an irrigation project for the laghouat region, perimeterof 1675 ha, using water from the Seklafa dam. The study is based on a detailed analysis of climatic, soil, and agronomic conditions to determine the most suitable crops and assess water requirements. It emphasizes the use of modern irrigation techniques, such as sprinklers and drip irrigation, to optimize water distribution, enhance yields, and ensure the medium- and long-term profitability of the project.
