Abstract

Our research aims to study the cultural patterns in the contemporary Arabic novel and the Tunisian novel in particular, and to trace its path and process. Therefore, we titled our memorandum “Manifestations of Cultural Patterns in the Novel In My Heart is a Hebrew Female” by Khawla Hamdi, where we found several prominent patterns such as the patterns of politics, war, and religious and cultural conflict. The image of women, the layout of the place, etc., opened many doors for critics, as many critics studied them and contributed to discovering the implicit cultural patterns that appeared and were embodied through the components of the narrative, attitudes, values, and ideas contained in the narrative text.
