Abstract

We aim with this research paper to ask what hermeneutics (philosophy of interpretation) can offer to the human sciences. We based from this on the results of Paul Ricoeur’s deconstruction of the metodological opposition developed by wilheim Deltay, between explanation (natural sciences) and understanding (human sciences), towards an approach dialectical hermeneutics in which the epistemologist interacts with the ontologist.
