Abstract

The study aims to identify the impact of the use of information and communication technology and its dimensions (the extent of using computer hardware and software, the use of information systems, communication networks, databases, training) on knowledge sharing (knowledge transfer, knowledge exchange, knowledge transfer) in the Sonelgaz institution in the state of El Bayadh, A questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting information, and the process of distribution was carried out on the random sample, so that the number of the sample studied was 45 individuals distributed among the employees between executive assistants, one or more administrators, control agents and a main annex to the administration, and the data contained in the questionnaire were analyzed by using the Excel program and the statistical program (SPSS v28 ) Depending on the arithmetic mean, standard deviations and correlation coefficients, a simple linear regression analysis was reached, and a number of results were reached that there is a high level of information technology and communication in the institution and it has a high interest in knowledge sharing in the Directorate of Electricity and Gas Distribution and that the use of information and communication technology is more Effectiveness in knowledge sharing, although it was a moderate effect of information and communication technology on knowledge sharing in the Sonelgaz Foundation - El-BAYADH
