Résumé
This study aims to explore the literature of ordeal as a literary
genre that conveys psychological, realistic, and existential
crises through highlighting and aestheticizing the poetics of
anxiety in the novel Chaos of the Senses. The writer transforms
feelings of psychological, emotional, existential, realistic, and
moral anxiety into a musical resonance that plays upon the
strings of her linguistic guitar, distinguished by its rhythm and
vivid imagery. She embodies inner depth through a unique style
and artistic pattern, creating harmony between literary text and
artistic form as an integrated structure expressing human
suffering in a creative language that transcends mere narration
and direct reporting. Through symbolic, suggestive, and
allusive techniques, the novel reveals psychological complexes
and inner disturbances that reflect the individual’s conflict
between the self and the external environment, and how this
conflict negatively affects the individual, reflecting the
bitterness of reality and the complexities of childhood.Toxic
relationships are among the leading factors that contribute to
emotional trauma and mental health struggles, often leaving
lasting psychological scars.
