The aromatic plants of Lawsonia inermis, Nigella sativa L, Ricinus communis L and Foeniculum vulgare are widespread in Algeria and widely used by local populations for their medicinal properties, that they have a phenolic compounds. These plants are also known for their industrial uses. In our study, the fixed oils were subjected to a physicochemical and microbiological evaluation. The extraction of the fixed oils was carried out by the soxhlet extractor, and the most important results were founded in the seeds’s Ricin. The physico-chemical parameters of our samples are respected by using the standards. The antibacterial and antifungal effects of the four studied oils were evaluated by two reference methods, namely “the discs broadcast on agar “and “the microdilution technique on liquid medium”, those was applicated on the four reference bacterial strains and a yeast of the genus C. albicans. The results reveal that there is a difference in sensitivity among the strains of the positive or the negative Gram. The important bactericidal and fungicidal activities were shown by Henne and Ricin’s fixed oils.en_US
