Abstract

At the end of this lesson, in which we discussed the strategy of transitioning towards renewable energies to achieve security, we would like to highlight the analysis and explanations provided on the importance of energy transition in light of the challenges facing the country at the energy and economic levels. We began this research by presenting the concept of renewable energies and the importance of these energies at the global level, where we reviewed the types of renewable energies such as solar, geothermal, and the extent of their use in the world. We also focused on the factors that prompted the world to pay attention to renewable energies, including the need to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and confront climate change. In the second chapter, we addressed the reality of renewable energies in Algeria. The natural resources that Algeria possesses in the field of solar and wind energy were highlighted, which puts it in a privileged position to exploit these sources.
