Abstract
The durability of concrete depends on several parameters and much more porosity, the latter determines the degree of
the reactions of concrete with aggressive agents. The presence of pores facilitate the evolution of the deterioration of
structures in concrete.
The objective of this study is to define indicators of the essential parameters of sustainability through an experimental
approach carried out on different types of mortars fiber reinforced.
Work done involves the preparation of several series of specimens using three types of fibers (polypropylene,
polyethylene and metal) with a mortar mix composition (cement, sand, water and adjuvant) fixed in a first phase.
They were exposed in a second phase of the most common aggressive environments: acids, sulfates, chlorides and
seawater leading to accelerated degradation test representative.
Thus mass loss testing, tensile strength and compression to 7, 14 and 28 days are made to estimated and evaluated
sustainability
