This study is part of the analysis of digital discourse. It proposes to analyse the expression of pathos in comments on articles from the TSA electronic press published on the Facebook social network. The latter is used by some Facebook users as a means of expressing their emotions and influencing the thoughts of others during the Covid-19 pandemic. Emotion is presented in comments in different forms; this analysis aims to study the main manifestations of emotion in comments on articles on two distinct themes: containment and the oxygen crisis. Our study is based on the work of Marie-Anne Paveau (2017) and Catherine Kerbrat-Orecchioni (1980) to analyse a corpus consisting of 136 comments collected during the period from April 1, 2020 to September 18, 2022. The results of this analysis show that during a health crisis marked by social distancing and confinement, internet users find on the social network facebook, a space to express their emotions (anger, discontent, gratitude, etc.) through linguistic processes but also technolinguistic given the character of digital environments.en_US
